Having recently got down and dirty with Free BSD after wearing a fedora for a while I found myself in agreement with most of the article. My overall feeling was that if you just want something to work without exotic functionality then Free BSD is great, but if you need the latest greatest kernel feature or driver for something it’s more likely to show up in linux first.

As for which is better? Neither - as usual, different tools for different jobs, both with strengths and weaknesses.
