\nNew Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson offered Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco help from his state's National Guard last Sunday, the day before Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana. Blanco accepted, but paperwork needed to get the troops en route didn't come from Washington until late Thursday.

The guy who runs FEMA made a living before that by organising horse shows. But he got fired from that job. Too stupid for it.
\nBut he happend to be in the right party, and his college room mate
\nwas doing the FEMA job before him. And Bush said he is doing a fine job. That should be enough, shouldn’t it.<\/p>\n
